Consider insuring your pet. Whilst there are a huge number of companies offering this, there are definitely some that are better than others. Not every insurance policy is created equal so there are several variables that you need to consider when choosing one for your pets. Do you want a policy to cover for a year? Or for the lifetime of a pet? Do you have an idea of how much cover you want? Some policies offer as little as £500 per condition. Whilst we cannot advise on specific policies, we can give advice on policy types and the ones to avoid.

Consider signing up to our Pet Health Plan. This offers huge annual savings for your pet’s preventative health care through a monthly direct debit payment. We can tailor our plans to each individual pet’s needs. It covers their annual vaccinations, year round flea, tick and worming treatment and offers 10% off all our consultation fees.

Please note that this is NOT insurance. We advise you also have pet insurance as well as the Pet Health Plan.

It is always worthwhile having a separate bank account for your pets. Regular payments soon add up and can really help you when unexpected costs are incurred. Whilst the balance is building, also consider having an alternative source of funding for you pet e.g. a credit card.

We do recognise that pet ownership can be costly. We aim to be reasonable with our fees and will always try to tailor any diagnostic or treatment options to every client’s individual circumstances. All of our treatment fees are payable at the time but please speak to us if you need to discuss covering large bills.
